ABOUT THE CONSOLE
We love PICO-8 and the people who make the games. This console exists to promote the development of PICO-8 games and their developers — not to own, enclose, or profit from other people's work.
FOR DEVELOPERS
- We only host what we are allowed to. CC0 and CC4-BY-NC-SA, never anything else. If a game changes license, it is removed immediately.
- "No embed" means no. If you have opted out of embedded playback on the BBS, we do not import your game at all.
- You come first. Every game links to the original thread and — when we know it — to itch.io, website, and social profiles.
- Just ask and we will remove. Immediately and without discussion — and the scraper is told never to fetch it again.
FOR PLAYERS
- Favorites live in your browser, not on a server. No account needed.
- We track minimally. Anonymous plays to see what is popular — no IDs, no advertising cookies.
- Hand-picked from the BBS with a weekly license check.
TECH
Playback uses Lexaloffle's official web player, self-hosted alongside the games (only cover art loads from the BBS). PICO-8 is by Lexaloffle.
